...looks like in the next few days, between now and Tuesday, we may just meet Ivan Christopher Reeves face to face!!! I cannot wait to kiss his chubby little cheeks and look into his eyes!

His Name Is...

This weekend Christopher and Marah decided to name the boy Ivan Christopher Reeves. It's a good name. Strong. Ivan means "God is gracious"...and He is.

Marah's great-grandpa passed away this weekend. His name was Karl Ivan Whipp. It's good to carry forward names of those who have gone before us.

Thanks again, Heavenly Father, for Your constant care; please watch over this baby.

Growing Boy!

Our little fella is growing fast!

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the gift of this precious boy.

May he be a "bearer of Christ" and walk with You all the days of his life.

The Lord Giveth

Praise the Lord! This is the first picture of the little one who is anxiously expected by our family! Today Marah is 9 weeks pregnant and her due date is November 16th. Hallelu-YAH!!

Last Wednesday, January 6, 2010 we expected to have our first ultrasound picture. Instead our family experienced the loss of this much prayed for child through miscarriage. Beautifully, Christopher & Marah, chose to name their child, Owen Christopher Reeves. They trust that he will ever be before the Lord and serve Him all the days of his existance. Praise God that we are forever and we will see that child someday. I hope he will be proud of all of his family in the way that we follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
